September to March: September is the beginning of the end of the monsoon season. We can feel a slight fall in temperature. As a result, the winter season starts in full swing and continues throughout the months of mid-September to January. I have noticed the normal temperature is between 7 and 5 degrees Celsius. The most expected snowfall is hardly ever seen in Darjeeling. But sometimes, the temperature may drop to -2 degrees Celsius, so try to pack some jackets. March to June: We call this the summer season in Darjeeling. Secondly, this season is quite enjoyable, and we see maximum tourist inflow. The highest temperature is around 27 degrees Celsius. July to September: Starting from July until mid-September, we noticed heavy rainfall. Thirdly, it is not good time to visit Darjeeling. I have seen many landscapes along the main road from Rohini to Darjeeling. But Darjeeling is well connected from Siliguri with other roads, like Pankhabar and Mirik. However, if you like rain; don’t miss the lush-green Darjeeling hills soaked in water. The best time for photographic shots as well. The rainy season is very difficult for tourists as well as for locals. We observed many budget hotels remaining closed during this time.
